This isn't a real Terms of Service. Jobrhyme's in beta, running for a small circle of people, with no money changing hands yet, so this is the plain-language version of what's actually going on, instead of legal boilerplate nobody reads. A real ToS and privacy policy will replace this before Jobrhyme charges anyone or opens up more broadly.
What's collected
Your account (username, email), your resume (however you got it in: uploaded PDF or pasted text) and its edit history, the job postings you tailor against, and any tailored results you choose to save.
Where it goes
Your resume and the job posting text are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to actually do the tailoring and to digitize an uploaded PDF. That's the one third party in the loop; nothing here is sold, shared for advertising, or handed to anyone else.
Beta status
No uptime guarantee: this runs on a machine I own, not a managed cloud service, and it's had at least one real outage. No accuracy guarantee either, so always read a tailored resume yourself before sending it anywhere that matters. Features, data, and this page itself can all still change.
Your data
It's stored so you can come back and re-tailor without starting over. There's no self-service delete yet, so ask via Feedback (or however you reach me directly) and I'll remove it by hand.
Acceptable use
Your own resume, or someone else's with their actual consent, not a stranger's personal information. Don't use this to generate application materials meant to mislead an employer about who you are or what you've done; the whole point of this tool is the opposite of that.
